Buy a money box or tin - child-like i know but you will be surprised how much it all begins to amount to! also seeing that money box near in a place you can see everyday is a real mental note to you to save! trust me each day it will be a penny for your thoughts!

I have a great money-saving tip. If you have any red wine left in a glass or bottle at the end of a night, freeze it! Pop it in an ice tray and add the cubes to sauces when needed. It saves you opening another bottle when cooking.
