Have you had a one-night stand you didn’t regret? Why do you think women regret them more than men? Have you ever become too attached after what should have been a quick fling?

One night stands do happen and some people regret them some don't. It doesn't matter if they're male or female. Perhaps the regrettable indiscretion has more to do with the way one was raised with/without morals and values.

Perhaps I am odd in reading your article that was intended for women. Perhaps, more oddly I am an exception to your rule. I, and I do not think I'm alone in this.
I get enormous satisfaction from getting my bedfellow to orgasm a number of times, if fact my last two lovers have asked me to orgasm more quickly and now have agreed a way signal it's a good time for me to orgasm.
I'm 47 and I didn't start off this way, it took a patient woman who struggled to orgasm to teach me self control, I wanted to last beyond a woman's "moment" anyway before we met. I would add that it needs a woman to help a little, in the heat of a moment, that "don't stop" and an inability to keep still ends in a man's premature orgasm, unless he can carry on beyond the moment.

I had a one-night stand I would never ever regret, for the fact we went on to have a few more(it was with a friend,we were both single and we knew the score).Women regret it more than men as they are built to be more emotionally destabled,we analyse things a lot more than men and the whole"reputation" thing is what makes us regret it.....

i have had one nite stands for the last 6 yrs now and have exactly what i want out of them just like a man does, cos i think i am now at an age when i just dont give a damn what people think of me especially when i dont have to see them again, i find them on internet sites then chat on msn then we meet have sex and i leave never to be heard from again and i love it for now, but it does stop me having any sort of serious relationship with someone. But am having fun with it and as i said i take what i need then they have whats left and then i leave. very interesting reading just hope more women do it cos blokes hate being the one left keep up the good work. btw i am 48

I'm a man. The article in today's magazine really annoyed me. I got a slight urge to laugh even though I was offended at the bit that said women are people pleasers while men aren't. Women aren't pleasing me at all. They've never seemed to be interested in it. I'm a virgin. All women have done is cause me is pain through ignorance and rejection. People pleasers, my arse. Yet, I always wanted to make a woman happy.
I don't respect women who have one-night-stands. There's no double standard or hypocricy there. I've never had and I never want a one-night-stand.
