Childminder

What messages of support do you have for Iain and his family? Keran is despairing of life in prison, do you have anything to say to help keep her morale up? The Henderson’s need to keep fighting but it’s becoming a struggle, how can they keep going on a day-to-day basis? How do you think Keran’s sons are coping with being separated from their Mother?

Dave.

As I grew up with Keran and know her extremely well,I know 100%
all she did was try to save the baby's life.I know all the facts of the case which 'JEN' you clearly do not. This case IS another miscarriage of justice.

Keran should have the decency and respect to accept her sentence and do her time quitely! it's the least she can do!
She hurt that baby and I hope she can live with her actions for the rest of her life! ( I hope social services keep an eye on her behaviour with her own kids)

There were so many lies that that woman told and the jury convicted her because their were so many holes in her story itjust didn't add up. Her husband paints a public picture of her as this innocent angel and its all media spin!
She didnt mention anything about fits or the baby going floppy and un reponsive until she needed a cover story! (what decent childminder would fail to mention a child in thier care had a fit when their parent collected them??? A childminder trying to hide the phyisical abuse she inflicted !!)
She Physically abusived that baby and actually should of got a harsher sentence.

Kate

Take one minute to think of the Sheppards in all this. No one was there so how do we know what went on, the only thing for sure is a child has died and families are left in tatters.
All the hipe from the Hendersons does not mean she is innocent, and if the injuries were caused days earlier in a fall at their house why didnt Mrs Henderson report the facts to the parents at the time. Yes we do need to ensure fair justice for all but presuming someone is innocent just because others were proven isnt the way to go

Iain and Keran know they are not the only ones to suffer this fate, there is an ongoing alleged Shaken Baby Trial in Lancashire involving another child minder.

First it was MSbP,then 1, 2, 3 deaths and you are a murderer in the SIDS cases, then it was salt poisoning and now the SBS theory has taken off like a rocket. All of these cases are based on unscientific theory - you can't shake a live baby to see what would actually happen and as a campaigner, I can tell you now that all these cases differ from each other vastly, yet the expert mantra remains the same, theory convicting the innocent and potentially allowing the guilty to walk free.

Keran will survive, others have, she and her family should take heart that they have all the love and support they could wish for, I have parents I know are innocent currently in prison who wait on the appeals process, they are forgotten ith little or no support.

To name just two. God forbid that your child ever bangs its head and becomes unconcious, because that could well be the beginning of the nightmare that the Hndersons and so many others have suffered.

Iain, Keran and Boys
Both Suzanne and I know how you feel, and we totally understand the heartache, I somtimes thought that the light was dim if there at all, but there is light and hope the three Judges in Suzanne's hearing also know somthing is wrong with the experts "evidence", then Suzanne came home (retrial pending)after 3 long years away from the family home, She came home and that say's it all and you too will have your wonderfull wife and mother home with you's again. (chin up mucka)
